Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By using GameSet HK (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. The Service
The Service is a free, browser-based tool for organizing Swiss-system tournaments and similar activities. It is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or availability.
3. Data & backups
Your tournament data is stored locally in your browser. You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Clearing browser storage, switching devices, or using private/incognito mode may cause data loss. The Service provides an “Advanced Recovery” tool to help reconstruct past results, but we cannot recover data that has been removed from your browser.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service beyond its intended use;
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others;
- Misrepresent the Service as an official product of any trading-card-game publisher.
5. Intellectual property
The Service’s source code, design, and branding are owned by the Service’s operator. Any third-party trademarks that may be mentioned by users are the property of their respective owners. The Service is an independent, fan-made tournament tool and is not produced by, endorsed by, supported by, sponsored by, licensed by, or affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or any other game publisher. 6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of tournament results, or disputes arising from pairings or standings generated by the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services (for example, fonts, confetti libraries, screenshot utilities, or ad networks). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
